Teracore Wins 3rd Largest IRS Cyber Contract

Recognized SDVOSB selected for IRS EFC Security Services

Teracore Inc., a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) founded in 2002 has been awarded a contract to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Enterprise FISMA Compliance (EFC) program.

This program manages risk for IRS systems across the enterprise while providing compliance with Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) requirements. Our team helped stand up the first FISMA program at IRS and this next phase will now align with industry best practices.

The contract was awarded through the General Services Administrations VETS II Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) which is the only GWAC exclusively set aside for SDVOSB's. Teracore's award consists of a base year and four one-year option periods.

Luis Perez, Teracore’s Founder and CEO – “We’re excited to receive this award and are very proud to work with our IRS customers as we support the IRS’s EFC program. We look forward to bringing our experience and extensive cyber capabilities to drive success on this high-profile, mission critical program.”

Teracore will provide innovative solutions to streamline, enhance and modernize IRS’s FISMA compliance efforts. IRS operates in a complex technical environment handling our Nation’s most sensitive data and processes approximately 250M tax returns per year. Protecting and securing the 130+ IT systems at IRS is paramount to this effort. Teracore will bring process rigor, agile methodologies, and the technical expertise needed to heighten FISMA compliance efforts in supporting the security of taxpayer data.
